GRIH PRAVESHAM
A Housewarming Invitation
Invitation Design • Graphic Design • Client Project
Grih Pravesham marks a joyful new beginning in an Indian household.
This invitation was designed to reflect warmth, celebration, and cultural sentiment through a clean and contemporary visual language.
Design Approach
Balancing traditional symbolism with minimal, modern aesthetics to create an invitation that feels timeless, welcoming, and personal.

Housewarming (Griha Pravesh) is a significant cultural ritual in India — a celebration of new beginnings, positivity, and blessings for the home and its inhabitants.

Designing an invitation for this occasion required balancing:

-
traditional visual cues rooted in cultural symbolism
-
a modern, clean aesthetic appropriate for contemporary recipients
-
a sense of celebration, warmth, and welcome in a single touchpoint

Rather than just creating a pretty card, this project was about translating ritual meaning into visual language.
