OVERVIEW
Project Context
Travici is an immersive travel platform that combines AR/VR experiences with NFT ownership, allowing users to virtually explore destinations and own digital travel collectibles linked to real-world places.
The platform reimagines how people discover, experience, and emotionally connect with destinations before physically visiting them.
This project explores how emerging technologies like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and NFTs can create a new category of experiential travel commerce.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The Problem
Why current travel platforms fail to create emotional confidence before booking
Travel inspiration today is passive and two-dimensional:
-
Users scroll through images and videos with no spatial understanding of a place
-
Travel decisions are made without emotional immersion
-
Souvenirs are physical and disconnected from digital memories
-
There is no way to “experience” a destination before booking it
-
NFTs exist, but lack real emotional or experiential value for users
Gap Identified: No platform combines immersive virtual exploration with digital ownership tied to real places.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Hidden Opportunity
What if users could:
-
Walk through the streets of Paris in VR before booking?
-
Place an AR version of the Eiffel Tower in their room?
-
Collect limited-edition NFTs of places they explored?
-
Build a digital travel memory vault even before the trip?
Travici sits at the intersection of: Travel Inspiration + Immersive Tech + Digital Ownership
